James Martin Collins age 80, Passed away January 13, 2016. Jim retired as a Lieutenant from the Chicago Police Department after serving proudly for 31 years. Beloved husband of Rosemarie. Cherished son of the late Martin and Mae Collins. Loving father of Jim (Lisa) Collins, Karen (Carl) Grabinski and Renee Lotts. Devoted grandfather of Gregory, Melissa (Jake Mitchell), Erica, Alexandra, Alyssa and Jimmy and great grandfather of Madison and Baby Emma. Dear brother of the late John (Beth) Collins. Fond uncle of Mary Beth, Kathy, John, Kelly, Martin and Sheila. Visitation Monday January 18th from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Tuesday beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and then Proceeding to St. Eugene Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
