James "Jimmy" Calamus, age 87, at rest on February 21, 2025. Jim was born on June 14, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George Calamus and the late Colleen (nee Noplos). Dearest brother of Deborah Calamus, the late Louis (Joan), and step brother of Laura Dellaca. Fond uncle of Dayna (Daniel) Negron, Zachary (Heidi) Calamus, Krystin (Chris) Rice and Michelle Dellaca. Great uncle of Nicholas, Lucas, Penelope, Alexia, Gianna, Isaiah, Gabriel and Anthony.
Jimmy was a wonderful person who was dearly loved by his family and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Jim will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Ill. Intement will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
