Jadwiga Stepkowska

Jadwiga Stepkowska, nee Twarowska, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024. Jadwiga was the beloved wife of the late Mieczyslaw; loving mother of Bozena Karbowiak, Tadeusz (Malgorzata) and Roman (Edyta) Stepkowski; dearest daughter of the late Heronima and Kazimierz; cherished babcia of Lukasz and Bartek Karbowiak, Szymon (Elaine), Jessica and Claudia Stepkowski, and great grandmother of 2; dear sister in-law of Jadwiga (Edward) Suchodolski and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.



Visitation Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, and we will proceed to St. James the Apostle Catholic Church 5730 W. Fullerton Ave., Chicago for Mass at 9:30 a.m.  The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
