Irene Murray

Irene Kelley Murray, age 84, passed away on October 1 at Central Baptist Village in Norridge. Born June 21, 1934, to the late Helen (Fallon) and Henry Kelley of W. Stockbridge, MA, Irene earned her nursing degree from the College of St. Rose (Albany, NY) and her Master of Nursing Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University. Irene is survived by her husband, William - who always brought a sparkle to her eyes despite her advanced Alzheimer’s - her children Kathleen (David) Burna, Anne and Paul. Also missing Grandma Rene are Madeleine, Samuel, Fiona, Ella and Amy, as are her loving brothers William and Paul (Tomiko) Kelley and their children Elizabeth, Robert and Joseph. Irene also will be dearly missed by her Central Baptist Village family – her devoted caregivers and staff who provided her comfort during her long illness. Visitation Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by 10:00 a.m. Mass at Central Baptist Village, 4747 N. Canfield Ave., Norridge, IL. Private burial will follow in Connecticut.
