Irene J. Gawron (nee Giba) age 88, passed away on August 22, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Walter Gawron. Loving mother of Marta Gawron and Mark (Betty) Gawron and the late Maria (Victor) Koter-Dominelli. Dear sister of Christine (The late Lawrence) Hageman and sister-in-law of Eva Giba and Irena Steinhof. Proceeded in death by her siblings, Wanda, Ted, Michalina, Joseph and Janina. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Friday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and then proceed to St Eugene Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Windridge Cemetery in Cary, Il.
