Ida Maki

Ida E.Maki nee Burns, 66; Cherished wife of William 'Mac'; Devoted mother of Jennifer Gillett and Thomas A. (Michele) Kinsella; Beloved daughter of Altagracia Garcia and the late Frank A. Burns; Loving grandmother of Conner, Sasha, Kathryn, Caroline and Maureen; Dear sister of Richard A. and the late William J. (Donna) Burns; Godmother of Melissa McMahon and Rebecca Burns and aunt of Robert, David and Scott Burns. Ida was a proud graduate of St. Gregory High School and a proud member of the IDA club ('I Drive Anywhere'). She was a truly unselfish person who lived her life for others and will be greatly missed. Visitation Sunday August 24th from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral service begins Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home proceeding to St. Eugene Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Donations appreciated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
