It is with deep sadness that we announce the departure of Mr. Ibrahim ‘Abe’ Samaan, who passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. The late Ibrahim is the husband of Georgette Samaan, father of Sally, Christine, John, and Peter. Father-in-law of James, Frank, Cicely, and Maria. Grandfather ‘Sido’ of Gabriel, Anthony, Ethan, Alexander, Nicholas, Sophia, Ava, Matthew, Monica, Anna, and Isabella. Son of the late Hanna and Salome Samaan. Brother of the late George, Mousa, Jacob, Aniseh, Mary, and Saba Samaan. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Family and friends are asked to meet Friday at Saint John Syriac Orthodox Church, 250 S Villa Ave, Villa Park, for Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
