Henry Pils

Henry Pils, age 98, U.S. Army Combat Veteran of WWII, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2021. Henry was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy, nee Szopinski; loving father of Lawrence H. (Kristin) Pils; dearest son of the late Rosa and Frank Pils; dear brother of the late Erwin (the late Edith) Pils; fond uncle of many. Henry loved golf and playing the piano, and in his spare time he took art classes. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sierra Club at sierraclub.org/donate or the Nature Conservancy preserve.nature.org would be appreciated. Visitation Monday, December 27, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
