Henriette Rocks

Henriette M. Rocks, nee Borkowski, Age 86. Beloved wife of John E. Dear sister of Roma (Late Albert) Humenick, the late Olga (late Clyde) Sims and the late Evelyn (late Joseph) Grein. Loving aunt of Ralph (Janice) Sims, Maryann (late Dennis) Cockshoot and Robert, Daniel and Mark Humenick. Henriette was a member of the Polish Women’s Association, Polish Alliance and a member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. Eugene Church. She served on the board of the Norwood Park Street Light District and was past President of G.E.M.S. She joined the order of Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1948, while serving in the order she served as a nursing instructor at St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing, before leaving the order in 1965 she continued her nursing career until her retirement in 1997. Visitation Tuesday May 7th from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Eugene Church, Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
