Helena Zukiewicz, nee Buchwak, age 72, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2023. Helena is the beloved wife of Stanislaw for 50 wonderful years and the loving mother of Donata "Donna" (Anthony) Brizzi and Daniel Zukiewicz; dearest daughter of the late Anna and Piotr; cherished grandmother of Aria Brizzi; dear sister of Bohdan (Rebecca) Buchwak, Bonnie (Steve) Mural, Roma (Zbigniew) Stachyra, Maria (Peter) Iwanec, Teresa (Alex) Halamaj, and the late Genia (the late Joseph) Krenciglowa; fond aunt of many.
Visitation Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Joseph the betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church for a service at 10:30 a.m. and the interment will follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Chicago.
