Helena Czuj

Helena Genowefa Czuj, nee Kuczek, age 88, passed away on August 29, surrounded by her loving family. Helena was the beloved wife of the late Tadeusz "Ted' Czuj; loving mother of Wesley Czuj, Ursula (Czuj) Genovaldi, Lucy (Steven) Bavone and Barbara (Michael) Bernardi; dearest daughter of the late Jozefa and Franciszek Kuczek; cherished babcia of Michael Hrdina, Joseph Bavone, Patrick Czuj, Anthony Bavone and Lucas Bernardi; dear sister of Maria (Jozef) Czarnik and the late Stefan, Wladyslaw and Franciszek Kuczek, Jozefa Sachman, Michal and Jozef Kuczek, and she was a fond aunt of many.



Helena was a member of Zwiazek Klubow Polskich in U.S.A.



Visitation Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL.
