"The Best Years of my Life", Helen would say about this rewarding job.Helen loved sewing and was talented with many crafts. She crocheted blankets, scarves, hats, slippers; and made trinkets and ornaments. Who doesn't have a 'Homemade Helen' item! She loved to garden, have fun and tell jokes, always smiling and laughing. Her favorite wish for everyone was "STO LAT". We will miss all the fun we had. Helen was a great cook. No one has ever made the delicious meatloaf that she did on top of the stove. When you came to her house, there was always room for desserts. She was a thoughtful hostess and everyone will always remember her meals at special occasions.Mom, you were an inspiration to all that knew you, the Matriarch of our family, truly an end to an era, but your legacy will continue forever.
