Helen Nowicki

Helen Nowicki (nee Smoczynski) age 73, passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 16, 2025. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J.; loving mother of Anthony "Tony" and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Torrance Harris) Nowicki; beloved daughter of the late Catherine and Anthony Smoczynski; cherished grandmother of Olivia Nowicki and Vincent Harris; dear sister of Anne Zemke and her twin Mary (Lou Lasher) Smoczynski;  dear sister-in-law of Kathleen (the late Arthur) Kon and Bruce (Cynthia) Wozny; fond aunt of Bruce Wozny Jr., Laura (Jason) Curtis, Edward Zemke, Jr., Jeannine Wozny, Michael (Christine) and Joseph Zemke.

Visitation Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge.  Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and will proceed to St. Ladislaus Church 5345 W. Roscoe, Chicago for Mass at  11:00a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
