Helen Golden, nee Wagner, age 94, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Fred S.; loving mother of Lois (Kent) Gillespie, Barbara Emmons and Roy (Carol) Golden; cherished grandmother of Erik (Susan), Neil (Kim) and Kate (Antonio Tablante) Gillespie, Trevor Emmons, Brooks Golden, Carly (Mark) Ericson and Becca Golden; great grandmother of Elijah, Kawai, Thomas, William, Marigold, Antonio, Layla, Olivia and Alexis; dear sister of the late Justine Wagner, the late Regina (the late Alfred) Nowotarski; fond aunt of many. Visitation Friday, March 26, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL. Please Omit Flowers. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing.
