Helen Bolos

Helen Bolos (née Jamanis), age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Helen was born on November 16, 1934, in Marathokampos, Samos, North Aegean, Greece. She was the beloved wife of the late James Peter Bolos; a loving mother of Vickie (Joseph) Priolo; and a devoted grandmother to Christina Maria Priolo. Helen was the cherished daughter of the late George and Maria Jamanis, and dear sister of the late Sophia and the late John. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Helen will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois.
