Harry Schmidt

Harry J. Schmidt of Des Plaines passed away on March 22, 2014 at the age of 71. The lifelong Chicago White Sox fan was born on April 11, 1942 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Harry was the husband and best friend of Sharon (nee Nason). He was the proud and adoring father of Jeff (Lisa) and Kelly (Joe) Roback. He was a devoted and loving grandpa to Sara and Lauren Schmidt and Jack, Ryan, Collin and Ava Roback. Visitation for Harry will be held at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. on Saturday, March 29th from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A prayer service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL immediately following the service.
