Hanna Niwinski

Hanna Niwinski (nee Zielinski), age 103, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. Hanna was born on July 15, 1922 in Biezun, Poland to Konstantego and Stefanii Zielinski. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her flowers, playing UNO, Bingo and Tysiac with her family and friends. Hanna loved to sing and most of all dancing the Tango. She was an active member of St. Monica Parish and the Polonia Club of St. Constance Church.

Hanna is survived by her son Arthur (Joannie) and her grandchildren Eric (Julia) and Jenny. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her son Jerome, and 3 sisters in Poland, and she was a fond aunt of many.

Visitation Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 12:00 noon. All Services will conclude following the mass at church, and the entombment will be private at St. Adalbert Mausoleum.
