Gus S. Tsouloufis, age 95, U.S. Army Veteran serving two terms in Korea, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, with his family by his side. Gus was the beloved husband of Diane E., nee Gardner, for 29 wonderful years and the late Barbara J., nee Ciancio, for 29 wonderful years; loving father of Steven (Diane) and Daniel (Stephanie) Tsouloufis and step-father of Judy Niemann and David (Patti) Infantino; dearest son of the late Bessie and Speros; cherished grandfather of Jake Niemann, Joseph Weiss, Daniel Weiss, Grace Weiss, Dan Thompson, Tim Thompson, Jeff Thompson and Nicole Watts; dear brother of Ange Pappas and the late Andrew Tsouloufis, and he was a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gus was a dedicated and respected Jr. High School Teacher for 30 years and he was a member of the VFW.
Visitation Monday, January 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to the Holy Transfiguration Chapel at Elmwood cemetery for a 12:30 p.m. Greek Orthodox Service, and the interment will follow with military honors and a final prayer at the gravesite.
