Gloria Swanson

Gloria A. Swanson, nee Andrews, age 85, passed away peacefully on August 11th. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Harry; loving mother of Glenn W., Michael A. (Stefanie J.) and John D. (Anne Britt-Swanson) Swanson; dearest daughter of the late Mildred and Orville Andrews; cherished grandmother of Dana, Kristen and the late Nicole Swanson and Danny Britt, Kevin and Jack Swanson; dear sister of Jack, Robert Sr. (Shirley) and the late Andy (Cassie), the late Richard and Frank Andrews and the late Jean (the late Geo) Taylor; fond aunt of many. Gloria was a member of the U.S.O. following WWII and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Visitation Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and we will proceed for interment at Acacia Park Cemetery. Info 708-456-8300.
