Gloria H. Enriquez

Gloria Lara de Enriquez, 93 years old, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 1st, 1933, Morococha, Peru, and migrated to Chicago, IL in 1977. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was selfless and caring with all her family. Her life was filled with the joy of cooking, as well as passing the Peruvian cooking legacy.

She is survived by her children, Carlos (Diana), Gysel (Kevin) and Luis, grandchildren Terry and Elise Blindauer, Ian and Erick Enriquez, and siblings Carlos, Ricardo, Lidia and Yolanda. She was preceded in death by her husband Fernando, and brother Cesar and sister Graciela.

Visitation Friday, October 2, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Family and Friends to meet at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Chicago Foundation for Women.
