Glenn Schmidt

Glenn W. Schmidt, 93, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2020. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy during both WW2 and the Korean conflict. Beloved husband of the late Dorothe (nee Mueller). Loving father of Joseph (Kathleen) Schmidt, Clare (Anthony) Bogusz, Ken Schmidt, the late Caryl Schmidt, and Warren Schmidt. Beloved son of the late William and the late Eugenia Schmidt. Loving grandfather of Kevin (Lori) Bogusz and Andrew Bogusz. Dear brother of Eugenia (Joseph) Ott and the late Audree (the late William) Walsh. Visitation will be Friday, August 14, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, at the funeral home then proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, Park Ridge, for Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
