Glenda Sloan

Glenda Faye Sloan, nee Smith, age 70, passed away on November 2nd surrounded by her loving family. Glenda was the beloved wife of Bobby D. for 17 wonderful years; loving mother of Bridget A. (Clifford III) Heart and Robert E. Tucknott; dearest daughter of the late Freda Bell and the late Joseph Smith; cherished grandmother of Jenny (Nagil) Diaz, Clifford IV (Evelyn) Heart, Steven and Michael (Crystal) Tucknott; great grandmother of Ivy, Daniel, Harley and Jenina; dear sister of Joseph and Barbara Smith, Richard Bell, Jodi Smith and Nancy Bell; fond aunt, niece, cousin and friend of many. Glenda was very proud to have been the first female pipefitter in Chicago Pipefitters Local #597. Visitation will be Tuesday November 7th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:30 a.m., and the interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
