Giovanni “John” S. Campisi, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024 after a long battle with ALS. Born in Caccamo (Prov. Di Palermo) Sicilia.
Devoted husband of Theresa (nee Lacriola) for 38 years,.
Loving father to Joseph Campisi & Angela (Anthony) Rubino.
Caring Nonno to Giovanni, Joey, Giuliana, Lorenzo & Gianluca.
Dear brother of Josephine (Salvatore) Chiovari.
Brother-in-law of Joseph and Patricia Lacriola.
Loving uncle to Tina (Chris) Binkley, Celia (Nicholas) Gilbert, Anthony (Kelsey) Chiovari, Peter & Joseph Lacriola.
Great uncle to Nathan, Colin, Oliver, Nolan, Adalyn, Angelica & Isabella.
Preceded in death by his parents Giuseppe Campisi & Consiglia (nee Stanfa) Campisi-Panzeca and stepfather Vincenzo Panzeca.

Devoted member and past President of the Beato Giovanni Liccio Society 2006-2013 & a member of several other Italian American Religious Organizations.
Visitation Sunday March 17, 2024 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Monday, 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home and will proceed to St. Eugene Church, Chicago, IL for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers donations to Beato Giovanni Liccio Di Caccamo Society, 7459 W. Addison Ave., Chicago, IL 60634, would be appreciated.
