Giovanni Blandino, age 75, born in Monreale (Provincia Di Palermo, Sicilia) passed away on June 19th, in River Grove, IL surrounded by his loving family. Giovanni is the beloved husband of Chiara, nee Perilli; loving father of Pietra Blandino, Rosalia and Francesca (Gerardo) Ayala; dearest son of the late Antonio and Pietra (nee Causa) Blandino; cherished grandfather of Nicoletta, Mariah, Adrianna, Joshua, Daniella, Giulia and GianLuca; great grandfather of Giovanni, Zoey, Matteo and Teagan; dear brother of Giuseppa (Guido) Terravecchia, the late Francesca (the late Carmelo) Giangrande, the late Antoinetta (the late Stefano) Messina and a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL, followed by a 12:00 p.m. Mass at St. Cyprian Church in River Grove.
