Giovanna Catanese

Giovanna Catanese, nee D'otolo, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021. Giovanna was the beloved wife of the late Antonio; loving mother of Joanna M. (Scott) Korhonen; dearest daughter of the late Maria and Giovanni D'otolo; cherished nana of Anthony, Sara and Michael; dear sister of Tina (the late Pietro) DeSensi and the late Franco, Domenico and Raffaela; fond aunt and friend of many. Visitation Friday, October 29, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at Christ the King Mausoleum within Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
