Giovanna Carlino

Giovanna Carlino (nee Conte) age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 12, 2025. Giovanna was the beloved wife of the late Sam Carlino and the previous wife of George Garcia; beloved mother of Michelle (Eric) Miranda; dear daughter of the late Francesca (nee Martorana) and the late Andrea Conte; cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Isabella and Gianna; dearest sister of Mariella (the late Giuseppe "Pino") Seminara, Antonio "Tony" (Linda) Conte and the late Giuseppina (the late Vito) Ingrassia, and she was a fond aunt of Sal Seminara, Iolanda Goodfellow, Vito Ingrassia, Francesca Ingrassia, Adrianna Cain, Julia Conte, Andrea Conte and she was a cousin and friend of many.

A memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Beatrice Church (Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish) in Schiller Park for Mass at 10:30 a.m. All Services will conclude following mass and the interment will be private.
