Giacomo Giovannielli, age 82, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Giacomo is the beloved husband of Anna, nee Ruggiero, for 58 wonderful years; loving father of Vito (Linda), Gioacchino "Nino" (Juliane) and Michele "Mike" (Robin) Giovannielli and Sabina (the late Peter) Debski; dearest son of the late Sabina, nee Tocogna, and the late Vito Giovannielli; cherished grandfather of Brianna (Ivan Rojas), Anthony, Angelina and Alyssa Giovannielli, Anna Debski, Gianna and Lorenzo Giovannielli and Giacomo Debski; dear brother of Angela Longo, Anna Damone, Michele and Rocco Giovannielli, Tina Bellino and Paulo Giovannielli; fond uncle of many. Visitation Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Queen of Peace Parish (Saint Eugene Church) in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum within All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
