George A. Satala, age 97 passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022. George was a member of the Chicago Carpenter’s Union Local #13 for 65 years. beloved husband of the late Barbara Satala nee Locigno; loving father of Grace (Richard Hagedorn) Mariano, Dominic (Diane) Mariano, Barbara Flournoy (Frank Sullivan), and the late Michael Mariano and Mary Lu Vrlec; beloved son of the late Roman and Antoinette Satala nee Hudak; fond grandfather of 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; dear brother of Sister Mary Satala D.C. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706. Friends and family are to meet at Our Lady, Mother of the Church, 8747 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60656 on Monday at 10:00 am for Mass. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery.
