George Roman

George L. Roman, age 57, Cook County Sheriff and longtime resident of Northlake, IL passed away on December 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. George was the beloved husband of Alba L., nee Toro, for 33 wonderful years; loving father of Geovanni L. (Cara) Roman and Christina L. (Arturo) Medina; dearest son of Rosemary 'Rosa', nee Velez, and the late Jorge Roman; cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Amyah Roman and Bella Medina; dear brother of Angel (Karen) and Juan (Maritza) Roman and Luisa Velez; fond nephew, uncle, cousin and friend of many. George loved all sports and enjoyed watching sporting events. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman, but , most importantly, he was a devoted and loving family man.
