George A. Campise, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2026. George was born on January 2, 1960, to the late Jack Campise and the late Agnes (nee Bottino) Campise.
George was the loving husband of Laura and the dearest father of Natalie Campise. He was the fond brother of Jack Campise and Joseph Campise, and brother-in-law of Catherine Campise. He was the loving uncle of Celeste (Stephen) Hamilton and Jack (Meagan) Campise Jr. Fond brother-in-law of Larry (Nancy) Dubisz.
George was a dear friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. George never hesitated to give his time to anyone who needed him, and he found great joy in being there for others. His kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for those around him touched many lives.
George loved dogs and enjoyed cooking, but above all, he treasured spending time with his family and friends. Whether gathered around a meal, sharing a conversation, or simply enjoying time together, George valued the people he loved and created many cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever.
George will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, caring brother and uncle, and a true friend. His generous spirit and kind heart will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Visitation for George will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. The funeral service will begin Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago for a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois.
