Genevieve Srutwa

Genevieve Srutwa nee Kras, age 93. Passed away April 27, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus; loving mother of Krystyna Srutwa and Thaddeus (Yvonne) Srutwa; fond grandmother of Tatiana, Arman, Nadia and Peter; dear sister of the late John (the late Nora) Kras. Genevieve loved to garden, entertain, and cook. She was an example of strength, a compassionate friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Visitation Sunday April 30th, 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin Monday at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. and will then proceed to Our Lady of Ransom Church, Niles for 10:00 a.m. Mass.
