Gaspare Martorana, 98, at rest January 17, 2026. Born in Chiusa Sclafani, Sicily. Devoted husband of the late Vincenza for over 47 years. Beloved father of Genevieve (Nick) Martorana Tucci, Rose (Tony Madonia) Martorana. Loving grandfather of Gina-Rose (Oliver), Daniella (James), and Alena (David); great grandfather of Pearl, Fiona, Viviana, and David III. Dear brother of Pietro, the late Antonino, the late Stefano, the late Salvatore, the late Giuseppe, and the late Lina. Fond uncle of many. Gaspare enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as a competitive game of bocci or cards, and a leisurely walk. Visitation will be Monday, January 26, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish (St. Beatrice Catholic Church, 4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park). Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum.
