Gary Potter, age 83, at rest on March 30, 2021. Gary was a Veteran in the United States Army and was a retired Lieutenant with the Oak Park Police Dept. and former lead court security for the Derksen Federal Building. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Hansen). Loving father of Craig (Karen), Brian (Kathy), Gary (Maria) and Matt (Asta). Cherished grandfather of Jacob (Tori), Ryan, Breana, Sarah, Jeremy and Nicholas. Visitation will take place on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL.
