G. John ‘Jack’ Wilson, of Marco Island, and Chicago, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Nevada after a short serious illness resulting from complications of diabetes, heart disease and COPD. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents George Anthony and Frances Marie (Sbarboro) Wilson. Jack was the owner and chairman of Ribbon Supply Company from 1970 -2012. and a parish associate in the Archdiocese of Chicago from 1956-1982. Jack is survived by his loving life partner and First Mate Eileen Younglove, and his first cousins Joanne (the late Bob) McDevitt of Ogden Dunes Indiana, James (Elaine) Keenan of Chicago; second Keenan cousins of Chicagoland: Daniel(Deborah), Anne, Gregory, Stephen (Diane), Thomas (Nicole), Kenneth (Tina); of Illinois: Mary Mueller, Joe Sbarboro, Pat (Jim) Bland; a friend Georgene Annweiler of Henderson, NV, and other cousins. He was a diehard Bears and Cubs fan and was ecstatic to see the Cubs win the World Series last year. Jack will be sorely missed by all, especially Eileen’s brothers Jim (Helen), Larry (Pat) Younglove and their families. Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral will begin Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Giles Catholic Church, Oak Park, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
