Frederick Czarnik

March 28, 1946 — November 18, 2016

Frederick Robert Czarnik, age 70, U.S.A.F Crew chief with the Wild Weasels in Vietnam, passed away suddenly on November 18, 2016. Fred was the beloved son of the late Mary, nee Wolak, and Rudolph Czarnik; dearest brother of Timothy (Heidi) Czarnik. Born in Chicago, Fred moved to Alpha, MI and graduated from Porter School. Fred was a machinist for over 40 years with Supreme Products, J.J. Turek and Alpha Manufacturing. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m on November 22, 2016 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Info www.cumberlandchapels.com or 708-456-8300.
