Loving father of Marguerite, Mark, Barbara (Tony) Caliendo, Carol, the late David, the late Patricia and the late Mary Therese. Fond Grandfather of Frank (Jen) Lesniak and Anthony Caliendo. Beloved Grandpa Poppy of Zoe. Cherished son of the late Frank and the late Philomena (nee Montague) DeSio. Dear brother of Camillo (the late Collette) DeSio, the late Gloria (the late Erich) Hene and the late Phyllis DeSio. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of WWII and the Korean War (U.S. Army Air Corps, Air Force). Visitation Tuesday morning August 3, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. The funeral will then proceed to Sacred Heart Church in Melrose Park for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.
