We never thought that this day would come. It truly hurts to know that you’re not here with us anymore. You were the rock of our family, the patriarch, a father figure to all of us.
Francesco Cannone was born in WWII Italy, he wanted to make a better life and decided to migrate to America. He met his beautiful wife Rosa when he was only 17 years old. He came to America, he worked hard, started a family, had three daughters, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He never had a mean bone in his body, he was beloved by everyone who met him. There are so many things we can say about him, but one thing you should know is that he had a big heart and cared for his entire family near and far. He is leaving behind a legacy that will carry on for generations to come. Nonno, we promise that we will take everything you taught us and keep the traditions going for as long as we are on this earth. We will always remember you and honor you in everything we do. We love you so much and may God rest your soul.
