Francesco "Frank" Centineo, age 94, Born in Cefalù, Sicily and resided on the far northwest side of Chicago. Frank passed away on June 24, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosa (nee Barravecchia) for 69 years. Loving father of Isabella (Benedetto) Affrunti and Vincenzo Centineo. Beloved son of the late Vincenzo and Isabella (nee Cinquegrani) Centineo. Beloved son-in-law of the late Salvatore and Rosaria (nee Culotta) Barravecchia. Proud grandfather of Anthony and Michael Affrunti. Dear brother of Lucia (the late Sam) Fiduccia, Salvatore (Angela) Centineo, the late Giuseppe (Rosaria) Centineo and the late Concetta ( Santo) Tumminello. Loving nephew of the late Salvatore Pintavalle. Frank also leaves many loving nieces and nephews along with many friends.

Visitation for Frank will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Monday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 am and then proceed to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Church for 10:30 am Mass. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
