Francesca Fardella, 89, at rest September 30, 2026. Born in Casteldaccia, Sicily. Beloved wife of the late Agostino for 60 wonderful years. Loving mother of Josephine (Louis Rotundo)Fardella and Agostino (Rosa) Fardella; dear daughter of the late Gaspare and Marianne Guarino; cherished Nonna of Nicolas, Francesca and Joseph. Dear sister of Antonio, Domenico, and the late Filippo. Fond aunt of many. Visitation will be Friday, October 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Raymond de Penafort Catholic Church, Mt. Prospect, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
