Frances Barnas

Frances J. Barnas, nee Mrozek, age 93. Passed away on October 8, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL after a long battle with dementia and alzheimer’s disease. Fran was born and raised in Chicago and was an active member of the Divine Savior Catholic Church Women’s Society in Norridge, IL for over 60 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip C. Barnas and the loving mother of Ken, retired C.P.D. (Linda) Barnas. Dear sister of the late Marie, Lottie, Irene, John, Chester and Casey Mrozek. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday October 14, from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Saturday beginning at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. and then proceeding to Divine Savior Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905 appreciated.
