Florence Higgins (nee Phelan), 85 of Chicago, IL., dear wife of William P. Higgins for 62 wonderful years; loving mother of Patrick J. (Sarah E. Edwards) Higgins of Nashville, Mary Regina (Randall E.) Reither, William J. (Cynthia J. Kraft) Higgins and Eileen T. Higgins; beloved daughter of the late William J. and the late Mabel Drury Phelan, cherished sister of the late James W. (Patricia), the late Mary Regina and the late William K. (Mary Joyce) Phelan; adored grandmother of William, Lillian & Clay Higgins, Charles, Daniel, Robert & Scott Reither, Bridget, Caitlin & Jack Higgins; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Florence was a graduate of St. Angela Grammar School, Trinity High School and Dominican University and CPS teacher for over 25 years. Visitation Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 3:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Services Begin: Thursday 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home and will proceed to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
