Filippo DiMaso age 87. Born in Carbonara Di Bari, Italy, passed away on September 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Grace (nee Favia). Loving father of Nick (Diane), Rina DiMaso and Grazia (Mark) Saenz. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Erin), Michael, Steven, Mark and Emily. Dear brother of Frank (Maria), Vito (Sandy) and the late Rose (Nino) Murer and Anna (Paul) Risteca. Fond uncle of many. Visitation Wednesday Sept. 6, 2017 from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral services begin Thursday Sept. 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. William Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow the Mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
