Ferry Timothy Wittenrood, age 77, passed away on May 5, 2017. Ferry is the beloved husband of Albina, nee Gonsalves, and the late Margaretha, nee DeBats; Loving father of Jacqueline (Donald) Blair, Monica (Jesse) Del Angel, Yvette (Zoran) Ilic and Michael (Elizabeth) DaSilva; dearest son of the late Etty and Piet Wittenwood; cherished grandfather of Angelique (Ruben) Camacho, Jennifer (Stephen) Killian, Carlos Wittenrood, Timothy (Rocky) Rasgado, Katie Del Angel, Kevin Rasgado, Margaret (Joseph) Llamas, Sara and Kevin Rasgado, Melissa Ilic, Ashley and Anthony DaSilva; great grandfather of many; dear brother of Axel (Mary) Wittenrood and Pat (Johan) DeGroot; fond uncle of many. Visitation Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Mary Church in Des Plaines, IL for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
