Felisa Leyba

Felisa T. "Fely" Leyba, nee Tapawan, age 85, passed away on February 14, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side. Felisa was the beloved wife of Crispin "Chris" for 50 wonderful years; loving mother of Chris (Elaine) Leyba, Arlene (Paul) Jones and Ronald (Lenneth) Leyba; dearest daughter of the late Maria and Sevirino Tapawan; cherished grandmother of Aeryn, Christopher and Philippa; dear sister of Lolita, Nenita and Deogracias; fond aunt of many. Visitation Friday, February 19, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
