Felicetta Maratea

Felicetta "Felicia" Maratea (nee Grisi), age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 25, 2025. Felicetta was the beloved wife of the late Gennaro "Jerry"; loving mother of Josephine (Benedetto) Vitale and Gerardo "Jay" Maratea; dear daughter of the late Rosa (nee Caporale) and the late Francesco Grisi; cherished nonna of Maria Felicetta Vitale; dearest sister of the late Nina (the late Orazio) Brogna, the late Giovanni (Maria) and the late Enzo (Josephine "Pina") Grisi, the late Gerardina (the late Antonio) Manzi and the late Rosalba (Gerardo) Albunia; fond aunt of Rosemary (Vince) Nasti, Frank Grisi, Josephine (Robert) Pucci, the late Vince Grisi, Jr. and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. We will then proceed to St. Juliana Church 7210 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in River Grove. For more information call (708)456-8300.
