Eunice Cha

Eunice MyungHee Cha, beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023 at the age of 57. She was born in South Korea on October 15, 1965 to Duk Jae Cho and Jung Soon Cho.

Throughout her life, Eunice had a heart full of compassion and a contagious zest for life. Her warm smile and kind heart made her an instant friend to everyone she met. She was a devoted mother who always put her family first, and her love and dedication to them will never be forgotten.

In her spare time, Eunice (Myung Hee) loved to travel, spend time with her family, cook, and her meals were always delicious.

Eunice (Myung Hee) had a successful career at the USPS, and her colleagues always spoke highly of her work ethic and professionalism. She was also an active member of Dunamis Church and volunteered her time and resources there.


Eunice (Myung Hee) is survived by her Husband David, Son Steven, Daughter Angie, Parents Duk & Jung, Sisters Nanhee Rouse and Sue Kim, Brothers Sung and Myung, along with countless friends and loved ones. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her.


A celebration of Eunice's life will be held on Friday, April 14 at Cumberland Chapels at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706 from 6pm-9pm with services starting at 7pm, followed by refreshments at 8pm. Graveside services to follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park.

Rest in peace, Eunice. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on forever.
