Eugeniusz Kosla

Eugeniusz F. Kosla, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2016 with his family at his side. He was dearly loved by his wife of 57 years, Zofia. Loving father of Wesley (Hanna), Teresa (Tom), Donna (Jim), Chris (Tiffany); proud grandfather and great grandfather of Marcin, Michelle, Paul, Amanda, Zak, Nicolas, Chris, David, Alex, Olivia, and Grant.He will always be remembered for how many lives he touched with his love...he was a friend to all...his greatest passion was helping others. He loved to fish, garden, cook, tinker in his garage, read, and work crossword puzzles.Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral will begin Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home then processing to St. Eugene Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eugeniusz's name may be made to St. Eugene Church or a charity of your choice.We will miss his optimism, smile, and his jokes. He leaves us rich with memories.
