Eugene Martin Zubik

Eugene M. Zubik, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026. Eugene was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was the beloved husband of the late Wanda (nee Rukscinski); loving father of Theresa (Martin) Biernat, John (Sandy) Zubik, and Thomas (Michelle) Zubik; dear son of the late Magdalena and John Zubik; cherished grandfather of Stephanie (Tony) Bazile, Daniel (Kristen Riordan) Biernat, Matthew Zubik, Joshua (Maggie) Zubik, Michael (Jenny Begich) Zubik, Rachel (Chris) Trojanowski, Ethan and Aaron Zubik; great grandfather of Anthony and Sophia Bazile; dearest brother of the late Caroline (late John) Seinitz, the late Pauline (the late Michael) Nalepa, the late Alvina (the late Walter) Jarecki, the late Mary (the late Ed) Osinski, the late Rose (the late John) Rdzak, and the late Edwin Zubik, and he was a fond uncle of many.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Interment will be private at St. Adalbert Cemetery. For more information call (708)456-8300.
