Eugene R. Tomlin, Age 77, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. Eugene was the beloved husband of Diana (nee Stumpf) for 43 wonderful years; loving father of Edward (Simone Homann) Tomlin, Angelique (Marc) Marquez, and the late Mathew Tomlin; dear son of the late Sophia and Casmir Tomlin; cherished grandfather of Alexis Tomlin, Anthony Homann Tomlin, and Natalia Marquez; dearest brother of the late Richard (Shirley) Tomlin and the late Irene (the late Henry) Kacprzak, and he was a fond uncle of many.
Visitation will be Thursday October 2, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Friends and family will gather between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, for a funeral service beginning at 9:30 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
