Etta Tautenhahn

Etta Dora Tautenhahn, age 86, at rest on December 13, 2023. Devoted daughter, wife, mother and Oma to the Koelling and Tautenhahn families. Etta loved singing and music, a faithful Christian who taught children's Sunday School, and was well-loved in her neighborhood as the friendliest bank teller. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, travelled to visit relatives in Germany; raised her own family in Manhattan Beach and Cambria, CA; and retired to Norridge, Illinois. She was proceeded in death by her husband Gunther Tautenhahn, Sr. She is survived by her daughter Logan A. Daniel (nee Karen Tautenhahn) with husband John Daniel; Her son Gunther Tautenhahn Jr. with wife Kyra Abrahamsen and her grand-daughter Avery Tautenhahn. Celebration of life for Etta will take place on Friday, December 14, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Village Chapel 4747 N Canfield Ave, Norridge, IL 60706.  Interment will take place at a later date in Cambria California.
